On April 1st, the technology giant named Apple, celebrated its 50th anniversary.
THE History of Apple
Before Apple
It all started in 1971 with the acquaintance of the well-known to all of us, Steve Jobs, with the “brain” of Apple, Steve Wozniak.
Before they founded Apple. Wozniak and Jobs created the Blue Box : A Blue Box is an electronic device that produces tones used to generate the in-band signaling tones formerly used within the North American long-distance telephone network to send line status and called number information over voice circuits.
With Blue Box,Jobs realized that Wozniak’s technology could become a successful business.

the history of apple:THE START
1976
Founded on 1st April of 1976 as Apple Computer Company by Steve Jobs,Steve Wosniak and Ronald Wayne in a garage of the parents of Jobs at Los Altos,California.
The company’s first product name was Apple 1(1976). The Apple 1 was a computer that didn’t look anything like a computer as we know it: it was just a bare board without a keyboard, screen, or power supply. The price was 666,66$ because Wosniak liked repeating numbers.Μeanwhile, Jobs convinced the Byte Shop to buy 50 units. It was the first time Apple operated as a real business.

For the history : A total of about 200 Apple 1computers were made. Today, fewer than 70 survive.
1977
Apple Computers Inc was founded in Cupertino, California in January,1977 without Ronald Wayne, co-founder and creator of the first Apple logo, after he had sold his shares for $800.
Multimillionaire Mike Markkula provided funding for Jobs and Bosniak to continue
In April of the same year, the Apple II was introduced. Designed, again by Steven Wozniak, it had major differences from the Apple 1.It was the first personal computer to display color on the screen. Unlike the Apple I, the Apple II came in a beautiful, beige plastic case with a built-in keyboard. Wozniak designed the board with 8 expansion slots. This allowed users to add memory cards, printers, or modems, making the computer extremely flexible.

1979
Steve Jobs visited the Xerox research center. There he saw for the first time: The Mouse, the Windows and Icons (Graphical User Interface – GUI). He immediately understood that this was the future and decided to incorporate it into Apple’s next projects.
The history of Apple:It wasn’t always a success story.
1980
In December 1980, Apple held a public initial public offering (IPO) on the fully electronic Nasdaq stock market, selling 4.6 million shares at $22 per share.
However, there were some difficulties.
Apple tried to make a computer that would be aimed only at businesses.Steve Jobs insisted that the computer not have a fan to keep it quiet. The result: The machines overheated, the circuit boards warped, and the chips came out of their sockets. Apple was forced to recall thousands of units.
LISA VS MACINTOSH
His visit to Xerox in 1979 influenced him to implement a GUI on an Apple product. The Apple Lisa, which was abandoned because it suffered from high cost ($9.995) and limited software options, led to commercial failure.
Jobs wanted Lisa,to be the most advanced computer in the world. But management removed him from the project because he was a difficult and tough collaborator. Jobs went to another, small team working on a project called the Macintosh. He convinced them to abandon their original plans and build a “cheap Lisa”.
The result:Apple was spending millions on two products that competed with each other within the company!
New CEO (1983)
Apple had grown too big and needed an experienced CEO. Jobs found John Sculley, the president of Pepsi. To convince him, he gave him the historic line: “Do you want to sell sugar water for the rest of your life or come with me and change the world?” Sculley came, but he didn’t understand technology. He only understood marketing and profits.
Having just convinced Pepsi’s John Sculley to lead the company with the historic question of whether he wanted to ‘change the world’, Jobs had no idea that he had just hired the man who would lead him to the exit.
