GTA 6 leaks
The GTA 6 leaks indicates that we are finally entering the last phase of anticipation for Rockstar’s next title. The time has come for the anticipation for GTA 6. Since new Title IDs in the PlayStation Store database have recently been added, the announcement to release numbers within Rockstar Games’ title can only be seen in the last few days.
Traditionally, this step comes before pre-orders on the PlayStation platform are open. While Rockstar has not formally announced this information, the showing of those IDs at the backend of the PlayStation Store is part of a widely viewed view which suggests preparation for launch and pre-orders is proceeding to this point at high intensity.
The Price Rumors
Some retailers listed the game at much higher pricing, with the number listed being a considerable surprise to consumers, especially given a recent rumor hitting headlines that retail price will significantly exceed the $80 standard for this console generation (which is 10+ dollars to begin with).
GTA 6 leaks and the New Smartphone Footage
GTA 6 Playstasion Store leak is also back in the news following another leak – not only the behind-the-scenes buzz around pre-orders. A new Instagram account named Vice City Alligator, posted a brief video that looks like a screenshot of the development process GTA 6. The video shows footage of a small bridge in Vice City and a truck reminiscent of a model from GTA 5. Though the videos themselves aren’t groundbreaking, the plot behind them is. The owner says someone else introduced the video to them from their phone, four years ago when a Rockstar developer sent it the video off the charger while they were working remotely. The developer was said to have shot the snippet with their mobile phone, writing: “trying to see something that stands out.” There was no more material published out yet, as the developer supposedly departed the team amidst intense pressure to finish the game.
Rockstar and the fight against leaks
But after the 2022 breach of dozens of development videos with massive disruption, this new leak highlights once again how vulnerable Rockstar Games is. In response, the company has tightened its protocols and has instituted mandatory return-to-office provisions for many departments to limit access to personal systems and prevent further leaks.
